Accomplishments: This week I made a lot of progress. I glued my fingerboard to my neck, I filled in the crack in my finger board, I shaped my neck and I polished the head of the neck.
Tools: I used wood glue, I used sandpaper that we attached to duct tape to do a “shoe shining”. I used a random orbital sander to sand the head and base of the neck. I also used a scraper to sand down the neck and get it so it wasn’t as chunky.
New learning: This week I learned how to make a wood filler with my dust from my fingerboard. I also learned that you need to clip the fret wire a certain way or else it doesn’t sit right.
