Accomplishments: This week I was able to finish sanding my frets down and polishing them. I also was able to put the string nut in.
Tools: I had to sand the tops of the frets with a 300 sander and a 100 sander. I also used blue tape to make sure I didn’t get the fret board. I then used a 1000 grit paper to shine the frets and used steel wood to really get it to shine.
New learning: This week I learned what a solenoid is. We also got into learning out to start using the mechanics inside the guitar. We were able to relate the solenoid to starting a car and how we use it everyday.
